Responsibilities

• Prepare/or present monthly, quarterly and other adhoc analytics for Accounting and Finance leadership.
• Participate in and support various projects and continuous improvement efforts across the Accounting organization.
• Support the lines of business with Retail Loans and Deposits, Merchant Services and other unique Retail activities.
• Manage relationships with finance and key business partners, associates throughout the controller’s group, and tax and external and internal auditors.
• Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations.
• Analyze financial data to support decision-making.
• Receive, process, and reconcile statements.
• Assist with preparation for annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures.
• Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting and financial management preferably in the retail industry.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Knowledge of accounting systems is an asset.
