- Responsible for the importation of goods and is responsible for the customs clearance of the goods.
- Responsible for the overall import of the spare parts, machines and consumables.
- Collaborate with suppliers, and other parties to import the goods.
- Communicate with customs or other government organizations to prepare the required documentation and clear shipment without delay
- Communicate with transport companies, customs, and suppliers in order to make sure that all shipments are received on time and in full.
- Collect offers from different shipping lines & forwarders to get the best shipping rate
- Collect offers from Clearance providers to work with the best one at lowest cost.
- Make sure to provide correct & verified import documents to clear the shipment without demurrages & storage.
- To ensure that all items are shipped, transported and received in a safe, secure, cost-efficient, and expedient manner
- Make sure that the products and commodities arrive & get cleared within the promised time.
