Job Summary:
The Product Manager oversees a particular product or product line and is responsible for the entire process, from the initial selection to distribution and overall sales. He / She conceptualizes new products and brings them to the table, along with other departments.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Product Development and Management:
- Lead the end-to-end product development process from concept to launch
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, consumer needs, and new product opportunities - meet with traders, etc
- Collaborate with design and production teams to develop innovative glassware products
- Manage product life cycle, including new product introductions, enhancements, and phase-outs
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement product strategies that align with the brand's vision and business goals
- Set clear objectives and key results (KPIs) for product performance and track progress against these targets
- Work closely with marketing, sales, packaging, warehouse, etc. teams to ensure successful product launches and promotional activities as well as product life cycle
- Customer Focus and Advocacy:
- Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that customer feedback and insights are integral to product development
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, retailers, and industry partners
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to continuously improve product offerings and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management or procurement, preferably in the consumer goods or tableware/glassware industry
- Technical Skills: ability to utilize an ERP system to check inventory, prices, process orders, extract reports, etc. Basic computer skills for Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong understanding of product development processes, from concept to commercialization
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
- Language: Good English speaking and writing
