- Collaborating with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
- Assist in negotiating contracts with external vendors (contractors and suppliers ) to reach profitable agreements.
- Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
- Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
- Agreeing timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver the project.
- Drawing up a detailed plan for how to achieve each stage of the project.
- Selecting and leading the project team.
- Directing a multi-disciplinary team.
- Supervise the work of labors, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed.

BSc/BA in engineering, civil or architectural major.PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.Proven experience as construction project manager.In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.Familiarity with construction/ project management software.Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.Being well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures.Able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results.Have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.
