Summary

We are looking to hire a Humanities & Social Sciences Academic Coordinator to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate shall be responsible for monitoring tutors, ensuring that their performance and the sessions they give meet the required standards, and facilitating communication between the tutors and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and suggest new assessment tools and methodologies to assess tutors’ performance
  • Assess the tutors' performance to ensure that it meets the required standards, using the proper systems, tools, and methodologies
  • Regularly assess the educational material provided to the tutors and manage their orientation and training
  • Manage the feedback process between the tutors and the Content Unit to ensure the delivery of high-quality content on time
  • Ensure that all tutors are informed of our policies and procedures or any changes that might take place
  • Communicate marketplace updates, that is, either new curriculums or new teaching methodologies applied by the Ministry of Education or teaching centers
  • Plan the schedules of all the subjects according to the tutors' availability and manage tutors' requests like schedule changes

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Background in humanities and social sciences is a must
  • 3+ years of experience in the educational field
  • Knowledge of pedagogical approaches is preferable
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Knowledge of tutoring’s best practices and effective communication
