- Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples.
- Perform visual inspections of finished products.
- Compile laboratory test data and perform appropriate analyses.
- Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.
- Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
- Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance: frozen row material, packaging, repackaging and Loading.
- Auditing and managing the implementation of all activities related to the requirements and standards of HACCP, NFSA, BRC and the company's QC standards.
- Ensuring the incoming raw material inspection matches the quality standards and customer specifications. Receive, inspect and investigate or report questionable test results.
- Handling customer claims and performing root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Monitoring the performance of production and quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Following up on the company's quality documentation system and updating it when required.
- Evaluating the quality of packaging materials and ensuring they are compliant.
- Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback.
- Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements.
- Approve the right products or reject defectives.
- Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis.
- Submit detailed quality reports to appropriate executives.
Experience in Fruit/Vegetables quality control or inspection.Knowledge on quality standards for Frozen fruits and vegetables.Knowledge on postharvest conditions, transportation and storage of fresh and frozen produce commodities.Familiarity with product specifications and expectations.Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational & leadership skills.Analytical and problem-solving skills are essentialIn depth knowledge of ISO, HACCP, BRC standards and QC proceduresGood grasp of MS Office, Excel & PowerPointGood command of written and spoken EnglishIn depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standardsExcellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methodsBSc in agriculture or relevant field.
