Job Summary:

Enigma Genomics is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Coordinator to support healthcare providers and patients throughout the genetic testing process. The Clinical Coordinator will provide essential technical assistance to providers, guide patients, and collaborate with Genetic Counselors to ensure that all aspects of genetic testing are completed smoothly and accurately.


Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate the logistics of genetic testing, including sample collection, handling, and transportation, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare providers, and referring laboratories offering technical support and ensuring accurate test selection and documentation.

- Assist Genetic Counselors by providing background information, organizing patient data, and ensuring the timely processing of genetic test results.

- Liaise between patients, providers, Genetic Counselors, and the laboratory to streamline communication and address any issues that may arise during the testing process.

- Educate patients and providers about the genetic testing process, helping them understand test options, timelines, and requirements.

- Ensure proper documentation and data entry into patient records and maintain compliance with privacy regulations.

- Track test results and ensure that they are communicated promptly and accurately to providers and Genetic Counselors.

- Provide follow-up support to patients and providers, including coordinating post-test appointments with genetic counselors if necessary.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a related field.

- Fresh graduates or up to 2 years of experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting, especially in the field of genetics.

- Strong understanding of genetic testing procedures, including sample collection, laboratory processes, and result interpretation.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical processes clearly to both healthcare providers and patients.

- Familiarity with genetic counseling principles is a plus.
