International Sales and Client Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with international customers and distributors.
- Identify new export markets and sales opportunities.
- Manage existing accounts, including handling customer inquiries, orders, and concerns.
- Negotiate contracts and sales agreements with international clients.
Market Research:
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential growth opportunities in target regions.
- Monitor international market trends, competition, and regulatory requirements.
Logistics and Shipping Coordination:
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of export shipments, including preparation of necessary documentation (e.g., bills of lading, export licenses, certificates of origin, etc.).
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics partners to manage the transportation of goods.
- Monitor the shipment process and address any issues that may arise.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export laws, and customs requirements.
- Stay updated on export restrictions, tariffs, and sanctions in various countries.
Financial Management:
- Prepare pricing, quotations, and proforma invoices for international clients.
- Manage payment terms, letters of credit, and foreign currency transactions.
- Ensure timely payment collection and monitor financial transactions related to export sales.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare export sales reports, including tracking of sales volumes, revenue, and customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of all international transactions, sales contracts, and customer communications.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with production, logistics, and finance departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with the legal and compliance teams to adhere to export regulations.
Qualifications:Regions: East & West Africa, North Africa, Asia/Europe.Bachelor’s degree in international business, marketing, logistics, or a related field.Proven experience in export sales or international trade.Strong knowledge of international markets and export regulations.Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in foreign languages.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to travel internationally if required.Candidate Criteria:East & West Africa Area Sales Representative:3-5 years of relevant experience (not limited to this range).Previous working experience in the region is required.Fluency in French and English is essential.Experience in global trade and business development is expected.North Africa Area Sales Representative:Relevant work experience.Fluency in French and English is required; additional languages are a plus.Asia/Europe Area Sales Representative:Relevant work experience.Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.Preferred Qualifications:Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Transportation, or Supply Chain.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Experience with SAP is a plus.Strong understanding of international trade rules (Incoterms).The position requires frequent travelling to customers, and we expect flexibility in working hours.
