•Develop and lead the implementation of the SME segment strategy in line with the overall Operations Strategy; to ensure the
achievement of profitability targets
• Lead, motivate, monitor, and continuously develop a credible high performing SME team to impart the requisite
knowledge/skills/expertise to enable team members to carry out their prescribed functions
• Conducting market analysis when needed to keep up with the SME's market updates and avoid any delays or issues that can
reflect on business
• Drive sustainable growth and acquisition of new customers for SMEs & Micro Banking through the creation, development, and
maintenance of high-quality advisory relationships
• Build and maintain productive and strategic relations with customers/line managers/stakeholders to drive the development and
delivery of business solutions and revenue growth for the SME Segment
• Ensure strong cross-selling of existing and new products to existing and new clients; and in this process, maintain effective liaison
with all relevant business units
• Delivery of consistent, seamless, and trusted customer service to ensure customer retention and loyalty
• Maintains a detailed and current understanding of the industry; (at SME & Micro segment, current market structures; regulatory
requirements, and issues) to ensure that the opportunities are realized and the risks mitigated
