Job Description:
We are a small startup in the trucking industry, looking to grow and expand our operations. We are seeking an Accounting Specialist who can handle our financial tasks using TruckLogics, spreadsheets, and QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for payroll, tracking income and expenses, and monitoring profit per truck. This role also requires using data to help us make better business decisions and identify areas for improvement. The workload will be limited initially, but there are opportunities for growth as the company expands.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage financial records using TruckLogics, spreadsheets, and QuickBooks.
• Process payroll for drivers and staff accurately and on time.
• Track and record all income and expenses for the company.
• Monitor and analyze profit per truck and suggest areas for improvement.
• Use data to provide insights and help the company make informed business decisions.
• Prepare and present weekly financial reports to management.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial data accuracy.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping, preferably in the trucking or logistics industry.
• Proficiency in TruckLogics, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Preferred candidates will reside near the Nasr City / Heliopolis area.
• Availability to work from 2:00 PM to 8:00-9:00 PM Cairo time, to align with American Eastern Time.
