  1. Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses.
  2. Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
  3. Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard recognition and emergency response.
  4. Ensure compliance with health and safety laws and regulations.
  5. Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  6. Develop and maintain emergency response plans for incidents like accidents, fires, or chemical spills.
  7. Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and preventive measures.
  8. Manage and maintain safety equipment and ensure it's in proper working condition.
  9. Prepare and submit regular reports on safety performance and compliance.
  10. Analyze incident and injury data to identify trends and improve safety policies.
  11. Coordinate with other departments to ensure safety procedures are followed across operations.
  12. Ensure proper handling and management of chemical and biological hazards in the production process.

 

 


Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.Certifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are highly preferred.3-5 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.Experience conducting risk assessments and hazard analysis.Excellent communication skills for training and reporting.Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies effectively.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Problem-solving skills to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation purposes.
