Student Life Manager

The Student Life Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and managing co-curricular programs that foster student personal growth and development. This role involves overseeing various aspects of student life, including student governance, organizations, initiatives, and activities. The Manager will also be responsible for managing the student life budget and developing strategies for events and initiatives.

Responsibility:

  • Plan, direct, and manage the development of co-curricular programs that encourage student personal growth and development through variety of learning and development areas including student governance, student organizations, student initiatives and activities.
  • Manage student life budget in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Set the strategy and develops the calendar and budget of student life events and
  • initiatives.
  • Head and orchestrate, in collaboration with staff, faculty and students, the development
  • and execution of Student Orientation Program.
  • Manage all interpersonal training, workshops, seminars, and field trips offered for Students.
  • Manage both cultural and educational exchange programs.
  • Manage various developmental programs such as mentorship, ambassadors, foundation
  • student experience, and event officers’ programs.
  • Create and develop various policies including student life guide, travel, and student conduct policies
  • Create the student conduct process and supervise the enforcement of the Student Code of Conduct.
  • Oversees the function of student wellbeing in a variety of circumstances such as student complaints and concerns, residence life, athletics, and health services.
  • Manage Student life landing page.
  • Provide interpersonal trainings to undergraduate students including communication,
  • presentation, event management, sponsorship, and negotiation skills.

 


 Master's degree in student affairs, higher education administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in student affairs or a related field.Strong organizational and leadership skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff, and alumni.Experience with budget management and financial planning.Knowledge of student development theory and practice.Proficiency in using technology and software applications.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
