The Role:
We’re currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Account Manager to join our team and help take our client’s businesses to the next level. This is a great opportunity for the right individual to work with an International Advertising & Branding agency in the region. The role is based in our Cairo office (located in New Cairo).
The Sr. Account Manager will play a crucial role in managing and growing key client relationships, developing strategic communications plans, and ensuring the successful execution of campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advertising and branding projects, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing and growing client accounts. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and passionate individual to make a significant impact on the success of our agency and our clients' businesses.
As a Sr. Account Manager, you will develop strong senior client relationships and be committed to driving the business forward. You’re expected to have integrated experience and understanding of digital communications.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of the account team, ensuring to deliver work on brief and with optimum quality.
- Leading and overseeing the development and execution of integrated advertising campaigns, ensuring they meet client objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including creative, digital/social content, media, and production, to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution.
- Providing strategic guidance and recommendations to clients based on thorough understanding of their business, industry, and target audience.
- Developing and mentoring a high-performing account management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and timelines, ensuring that client expectations are met and resources are allocated effectively.
- Lead client meetings and presentations, providing clear and concise communication of campaign results, insights, and strategic recommendations.
- Prioritize and set expectations on key deliverables.
- Identify new business opportunities and always strive to grow the business.
- Participating in new business pitches, contributing to the development of compelling proposals and presentations.
- Full understanding of what is coming through the pipeline, to lead and manage the workload across the team.
- Exhibit the ability to anticipate and solve problems
- Remain in constant pursuit of excellence. Continuously "raise the bar" for yourself and the team
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in account management within an advertising/branding agency.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing client accounts in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to anticipate and address client needs and challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage clients at all levels.
- A deep understanding of the advertising industry, including emerging trends, media channels, and creative best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talents.
- Must be proficient in use of presentation software (Keynote, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Fluent English and Arabic.
