Job Purpose & Role:
- Conducting risk-based monitoring plan on branches and Head Office departments covering Compliance dimensions including, but not limited to, AML, CFT and Regulatory.
- Assurance on quality, efficiency and effectiveness among the whole operations of Compliance units.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Required:
- At least 15 years of banking experience out of which minimum of 5 years in Compliance is required.
- Comprehensive understanding of banking business/operations.
- Ability to develop risk-based monitoring & quality assurance plan with flexibility to absorb adhoc/un-planned tasks where and when required responding to changes in regulatory environment and or identification of new/emerging risks.
- Appropriate understanding of all Compliance risk aspects including deep knowledge of (AML, Sanctions and Regulatory Compliance-including CRP regulations).
- Timely reporting of gaps identified with clear and comprehensive recommendations for the required fixes.
- Strategic vision.
- Continuously updated about best practices for different Compliance functions to assist in enhancing the efficiency of different teams.
