Quality Control Supervisor

Job purpose

The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the implementation of all quality standards, and hygiene across the Coca-Cola HBC manufacturing facility. This role involves implementing, and monitoring QC analysis and practices to maintain the quality of the company products.


Key Responsibilities


Quality Control Tasks:

  • Leading the quality control staff at the production lines during his shift.
  • Follow up on quality and food safety issues in each shift and prevent their occurrence and when they occur find the appropriate corrective action to them.
  • Communicate the Quality issues with the other departments.
  • Proper Communication of the quality and food safety incidents during the shift with Quality leads and participate in RCA.
  • Follow up GMP activities at the production lines during his shift.
  • Follow up the proper implementation of QC activities with full support of his team members during his shift.
  • Documentation and record keeping during his shift.
  • Conduct the Training plan related to QC topics for Quality, production, and maintenance staff during his shift.
  • Review all SAP records during his shift and communicate any in correct recording from and solve problems facing the team on SAP recording.
  • Handling the implementation and recoding of all quality control studies and statics DPMO & SPC.
  • Participate in setting KBIs and contribute to achieving them and sharing the results with the rest of the team.
  • Follow up on customer and consumer complaints and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Updating Quality & Food safety Nonconformity tracker reports.
  • Follow up the finished product loading area in yard.


Team Supervision

  • Lead, train, and supervise the quality control team, ensuring they follow all SOPs with proper test methods.
  • Develop training programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.
  • Schedule and manage the work shifts for the quality control team to ensure coverage and efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sanitation role within the FMCG industry, preferably with beverage manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of Test methods of beverage industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
