Mechanical Engineering Specialist


Responsibilities:

  • Repair equipment and machinery malfunctions accurately and efficiently. Diagnose and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational productivity.
  • Implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance. Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Order necessary spare parts and equipment. Proactively identify and procure replacement components to ensure timely repairs and maintain inventory levels.
  • Assess the condition of equipment and machinery and provide periodic reports. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and document findings in detailed reports for management review.
  • Supervise technicians, guide them, and train them on effective maintenance practices. Foster a team environment, provide mentorship, and deliver training to enhance technicians' skills and knowledge.
  • Comply with safety and health standards. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to protect personnel and prevent workplace accidents.
  • Contribute to maintenance improvement projects. Identify opportunities to streamline maintenance processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrate initiative and self-reliance while collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.


Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Possess a strong foundation in mechanical principles and technical expertise.
  • At least two years of practical experience in mechanical equipment and machinery maintenance. Proven track record of hands-on experience in repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrate both autonomy and teamwork skills to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Good communication skills in Arabic. Effectively communicate technical information and maintain positive interactions with colleagues and clients.
  • Basic knowledge of used maintenance software. Familiarity with relevant software tools to streamline maintenance processes and manage records.
  • Good leadership skills to supervise technicians. Ability to motivate, guide, and empower technicians to achieve their full potential.
