Server Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, including hardware and operating systems.
- Monitor server performance, perform routine backups, and manage disaster recovery processes.
- Ensure server security by applying patches, updates, and security configurations.
Computer Systems Support:
- Provide technical support for desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
Network Administration:
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and security, and address connectivity issues.
- Configure and maintain network access controls and user permissions.
System Security:
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Respond to and manage security incidents, including malware and phishing attacks.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate documentation for IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and project status.
- Document and track hardware and software inventory.
Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions.
- Train and support factory staff on IT best practices and new technologies.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
- Identify areas for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration, with a focus on servers and network management.Technical Skills:Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, and other server operating systems.Experience with network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
