Responsibilities:
- Structural Shop Drawing and Bar Bending Schedule (BBS): Develop detailed shop drawings and bar bending schedules in accordance with project specifications and design criteria. Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Quantity Surveying (Q.S): Perform quantity take-offs for structural elements, including concrete, reinforcement, and other materials. Prepare accurate and comprehensive quantity surveying reports.
- Tender Review and RFI: Review tender documents for structural scope and requirements. Identify discrepancies and prepare detailed Request for Information (RFI) to clarify design intent and address potential issues.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on shop drawing progress, quantity surveying rates, and any relevant findings. Provide clear and concise information to project stakeholders.
- Correspondence: Maintain effective communication with project team members, consultants, and contractors. Prepare and manage correspondence related to structural engineering matters.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.Proven experience in structural and analysis for multi-story buildings.Proficiency in Revit is a must.Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
