Overview:
The Engineering Manager for Booth & Exhibition Construction will oversee the design, development, and implementation of exhibition booths and related structures. This role requires a blend of engineering expertise, project management skills, and experience in civil construction to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead and manage multiple booth and exhibition projects from conception to completion.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and adjust as necessary.
Utilize Project Management Professional (PMP) methodologies to ensure efficient project execution.
Design and Engineering:
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into effective booth designs.
Oversee the engineering aspects of booth construction, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with designers, architects, and contractors to ensure project feasibility.
Civil Construction Oversight:
Address civil engineering issues that may arise during the construction of booths and exhibitions.
Ensure that all structural components meet local building codes and industry standards.
Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments to guarantee structural integrity.
Client Interaction:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Present project updates, address concerns, and gather feedback to enhance client satisfaction.
Budget Management:
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality.
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising project integrity.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture or a related field.Proven experience in managing booth and exhibition construction projects.PMP certification is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in project management software and engineering design tools.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience in the events and exhibitions industry.Familiarity with sustainable construction practices.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
