Strategy:
• Building patients satisfaction strategy through the gap analysis to nursing department in satisfaction surveys and patient complaints and ensure that this strategy matching with the JCI
& Gahar requirements.
Budgets & Plans:
• Forecast the annual manpower according to the expansions for the hospital and FTE policy to assure that the patients are treated well with best nursing staff.
Core Responsibilities:
• Handle the day-to-day operation at the nursing department and solving patients’ problems
related to the nursing staff.
• Visiting inpatient patients to ensure the quality of nursing provided for them.
• Supervise all the nursing staff and hospital assistants.
• Ensure fulfillment of all Joint Commission International Standards.
• Review, support and develop nursing policies and procedures in the hospital.
• Keep track of all departmental Key performance indicators and activate quality improvement projects.
• Organize an audit committee to audit in nursing medication inventories in order to assure that Hospital policies and procedures related to medication are applied.
• Investigate all incident related to the professional conduct of nurses.
• Address patient complaints with assistance of patients’ relations team.
• Organize meetings for nursing supervisors and the nursing staff in the hospital to discuss nursing problems and find appropriate solutions.
• Evaluate the nurses annually according to hospital objectives that includes patients care and safety.
• Member of hospital strategic plans meetings with managing director and medical director.
• Submit suggestions for improving the hospital's nursing services to the Managing Director.
• Follow-up to adhere to the hospital uniform.
• Review and evaluate the needs of each department in the hospital.
• Participate in the development plans and training needs for the nursing team.
• Participate with the medical director in committees such as infection control, quality and medicine.
• Approve all patients transfers from care to a roomand vice versa.
• Approve all the admission of the patient to the hospital.
• Perform any other tasks assigned to by the Managing director.
Education:• Bachelor'sdegree in Nursing.• Master’s Degree is preferred.• Certified Professional inHealthcare Quality (CPHQ).Experience and Skills:• 10+ years of experience in hospital quality, patient safety andrisk management and5 of them in the same position.• Advanced English language(spoken and written)• Leadership skills• Effective communication• Problem Solving Skills
