- Oversee and manage all aspects of facilities maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
- Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
- Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors
- Manage and coordinate maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
- Monitor and control maintenance budgets and expenditures.
- Ensure timely and effective response to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Proven experience as a facilities manager Minimum of 6 years of experience in facilities management and maintenanceBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practicesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and leadership skillsRelevant professional qualifications (e.g. CFM) will be an advantage
