Trillium is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Preschool English Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about early childhood education and is excited to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement creative and engaging lessons that comply with early years education standards and promote holistic development
- Establish a warm and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction among children
- Assess and record children's progress and development, using this information to inform future planning and adapt teaching methods
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative and effective learning community
- Ensure a safe and orderly environment that promotes children's health and well-being
- Participate in professional development opportunities to keep up-to-date with early years education best practices
- Engage in school activities and contribute to the school community through events and programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting
- Understanding of early childhood development and effective teaching practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with young children and their parents
- Creative, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching
