Art Director
Location: Cairo, Egypt (North of Zamalek)
Work setup: Full-time, onsite
The opportunity
An international marketing agency, part of a larger global marketing group, is expanding its Cairo creative team. We are looking for an Art Director who can translate strategy and creative concepts into distinctive, premium visual work across social media, digital campaigns, content and production.
The right person will combine strong conceptual thinking with excellent visual judgement and hands-on craft. You will guide designers and collaborate closely with copy, strategy, account management, social and production teams to protect the quality of the idea from initial concept through final delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Develop visual concepts and art direction for integrated campaigns, social content, product launches and always-on communication.
- Translate creative briefs and strategic platforms into clear visual territories, moodboards, key visuals and campaign systems.
- Direct the visual development of work across social, digital, film, photography, animation, print, OOH and experiential touchpoints.
- Remain hands-on when needed, including concept development, layouts, storyboards, presentation decks and design refinement.
- Brief and guide graphic designers, motion designers, photographers, directors, illustrators and production partners.
- Collaborate with copywriters and strategists to ensure visual and verbal ideas work together cohesively.
- Lead or support photoshoots and video productions, maintaining quality from pre-production through post-production.
- Present creative ideas internally and to clients, explaining the thinking behind the work clearly and confidently.
- Review outputs for consistency, brand alignment, technical accuracy and premium execution.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while protecting creative quality.
- Stay current with beauty, luxury, fashion, design, social media and cultural trends.
What we're looking for
- Strong art direction and design experience within a creative, advertising, digital or social media agency.
- A portfolio demonstrating conceptual campaigns, social-first content and polished visual execution.
- Strong command of composition, typography, colour, image selection, storytelling and brand systems.
- Experience directing photography, video, motion or content production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud; familiarity with presentation and collaborative design tools is expected.
- Experience with luxury, beauty, skincare, personal care, fashion, lifestyle or FMCG brands is highly desirable.
- Ability to give clear creative direction and constructive feedback to designers and production partners.
- Strong presentation, collaboration and time-management skills.
- Awareness of AI-assisted creative tools and their responsible use is advantageous.
- Currently based in Egypt and able to work full-time onsite in Cairo.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية
- تطوير المفاهيم البصرية والتوجيه الفني للحملات المتكاملة، ومحتوى وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، وإطلاق المنتجات، والتواصل المستمر.
- ترجمة الموجزات الإبداعية والمنصات الاستراتيجية إلى توجهات بصرية واضحة، ولوحات إلهام (moodboards)، وعناصر بصرية رئيسية، وأنظمة حملات.
- توجيه التطوير البصري للعمل عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، والوسائط الرقمية، والأفلام، والتصوير الفوتوغرافي، والرسوم المتحركة، والطباعة، والإعلانات الخارجية (OOH)، ونقاط التواصل التفاعلية.
- المشاركة المباشرة والعملية عند الحاجة، بما في ذلك تطوير المفاهيم، والتخطيطات، والسيناريوهات المصورة (storyboards)، وعروض التقديم، وتحسين التصاميم.
- تزويد مصممي الجرافيك، ومصممي الموشن، والمصورين، والمخرجين، والرسامين، وشركاء الإنتاج بالتوجيهات والمعلومات اللازمة وإرشادهم.

- إدارة مشاريع متعددة ومواعيد تسليم مختلفة مع الحفاظ على الجودة الإبداعية.
- مواكبة أحدث التوجهات في مجالات الجمال، والرفاهية، والموضة، والتصميم، ووسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، والاتجاهات الثقافية.
ما نبحث عنه
- خبرة قوية في التوجيه الفني والتصميم ضمن وكالة إبداعية، أو إعلانية، أو رقمية، أو وكالة وسائل تواصل إجتماعي.
- معرض أعمال (Portfolio) يظهر حملات مفاهيمية، ومحتوى مخصص لوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، وتنفيذاً بصرياً متقناً.
- إتقان قوي للتكوين البصري، والخطوط، والألوان، واختيار الصور، والسرد القصصي، وأنظمة العلامات التجارية.
- خبرة في إخراج التصوير الفوتوغرافي، أو الفيديو، أو الموشن، أو إنتاج المحتوى.
- إتقان مجموعة Adobe Creative Cloud؛ مع توقع الإلمام بأدوات العروض التقديمية والتصميم التفاعلي التعاوني.
- يُفضل بقوة وجود خبرة في التعامل مع العلامات التجارية الخاصة بالرفاهية، والجمال، والعناية بالبشرة، والعناية الشخصية، والموضة، وأسلوب الحياة، أو السلع الاستهلاكية سريعة التداول (FMCG).
- القدرة على تقديم توجيه إبداعي واضح وملاحظات بناءة للمصممين وشركاء الإنتاج.
- مهارات قوية في العرض التقديمي، والتعاون، وإدارة الوقت.
- يُعتبر الوعي بأدوات الإبداع المدعومة بالذكاء الاصطناعي واستخدامها المسؤول ميزة إضافية.
