Tasks and Responsibilities: Recording and logging daily accounting entries (supplier, client, treasury, and bank accounts). Preparing periodic and annual financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flows). Conducting monthly bank reconciliations and matching balances. Preparing tax returns (Value Added Tax, Income Tax, Withholding and Collection Tax) and ensuring compliance with local tax laws. Managing fixed asset registers and calculating their depreciation. Participating in preparing estimated budgets, monitoring actual expenses, and comparing them with targets. Preparing periodic financial reports for senior management to show the company's financial position. Coordinating and fully cooperating with chartered accountants and external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process. Required Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Sciences. Practical experience of not less than [7] years in a General Accountant position. Full proficiency in dealing with accounting software and management systems (such as: SAP, Oracle, Odoo, QuickBooks). Advanced level in using Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel. Extensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local tax laws. Excellent analytical skills, high accuracy in dealing with numbers, and strong attention to detail.
