Role Overview As a Metrology Engineer, you will play a key role in demonstrating software capabilities, supporting reverse engineering workflows, processing mesh and scan data, and performing quality inspection processes. This position is ideal for a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate who is interested in developing hands-on expertise in CAD, 3D scanning, metrology, and reverse engineering technologies. Key Responsibilities Assist the technical team in delivering software demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions to clients. Apply mechanical design principles to develop, modify, and optimize 3D CAD models. Perform reverse engineering activities using mesh files, point clouds, and 3D scan data. Support 3D scanning workflows and quality inspection of physical parts. Perform dimensional analysis and inspection activities using metrology and inspection software. Collaborate directly with existing and potential clients to understand their technical requirements and provide suitable engineering solutions. Support the technical team in engineering projects involving CAD, reverse engineering, 3D scanning, and inspection. Continuously develop knowledge of the latest CAD, metrology, scanning, inspection, and reverse engineering technologies. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.0–1 year of experience; fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Good knowledge of CAD software, with a strong preference for CATIA. Good understanding of mechanical design principles. Basic knowledge of reverse engineering concepts and workflows. Familiarity with mesh and scan data formats such as STL and OBJ. Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong willingness to learn and work in a technical, client-facing environment. Preferred / Added Value Skills Hands-on awareness or practical experience with 3D scanning technologies. Basic knowledge of 3D inspection, dimensional analysis, or quality control software such as Geomagic or Poly Works. Previous exposure to reverse engineering projects would be an advantage.
