Role Description The export pricing role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The role involves preparing and reviewing export quotations, analyzing costs, tariffs, and margins to ensure competitive and accurate pricing for international shipments. Responsibilities include coordinating with operations, sales, and customer service teams to clarify shipment requirements, verify export documentation needs, and align pricing with company policies. The person in this role will communicate pricing to clients, respond to inquiries, and adjust quotes based on market changes, carrier rates, and regulatory updates. Day-to-day tasks also include maintaining pricing databases, tracking performance of quotations, and supporting continuous improvement of export processes and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Export Documentation and understanding of Export procedures. Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Import Export operations and international trade concepts. Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service abilities for client and internal collaboration. Candidates should possess analytical and numerical skills for pricing, cost analysis, and margin calculations. Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or customs clearance is highly beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, with strong attention to detail and time management. Proficiency in MS Excel and other office software; familiarity with logistics or ERP systems is a plus. A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field is preferred.
