Role Description The Tour Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo. This role involves planning, organizing, and coordinating guided tours and travel itineraries for individual and group travelers. Day-to-day tasks include managing reservations, arranging transportation and accommodations, preparing detailed tour programs, and ensuring all services are delivered as promised. The Tour Operator interacts directly with customers, responds to inquiries, provides destination information, and handles special requests or changes. The role also includes collaborating with local and international partners, supporting sales activities, and resolving any issues during trips to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Qualifications Strong knowledge and practical experience in Guided Tours and Travel & Tourism. Proven Customer Service skills with the ability to handle inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally. Experience managing Reservations, including booking systems, ticketing, and itinerary coordination. Sales skills, including the ability to present travel packages, upsell services, and close bookings. Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages, such as Arabic or other major tourist languages, is an advantage. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tours and clients simultaneously. Comfort working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Relevant education in tourism, hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
