At 49 Thirty Two Education we are supporting partner international school in Rimini with the appointment of two PYP Homeroom Teachers for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The school offers small classes and a welcoming learning environment in a relaxed seaside town with a comparatively affordable cost of living.
Available positions
Position 1: Transition/Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher You will teach a mixed-age class of children aged five and six within the Primary Years Programme. Position 2: Grade 2/3 Homeroom Teacher You will teach a mixed-age Grade 2 and Grade 3 class within the Primary Years Programme. The ability to teach four music lessons per week would be a significant advantage for either position.
The successful candidates will:Hold a recognised primary teaching qualification (B. Ed or PGCE) Have experience teaching within the IB Primary Years Programme Be confident planning and delivering engaging inquiry-led learning Understand the academic and pastoral needs of primary-aged pupils Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to school life Build warm and respectful relationships with pupils and families Be committed to safeguarding and the wellbeing of every child Already have the right to work in Italy or hold an EU passport
Due to the short timeframe before the start date, the school is unable to arrange visa sponsorship. Applicants must therefore already be eligible to work in Italy. Experience teaching mixed-age classes would be advantageous. The package includes:
