The designer will collaborate closely with pattern makers and tailors to refine fits, supervise fittings, and adjust designs based on feedback. Daily responsibilities include researching trends and cultural references, integrating embroidery and textile details, preparing technical specifications for production, and ensuring each garment reflects the brand’s aesthetic, quality standards, and mission.
Qualifications Strong skills in Fashion Design and Fashion, including concept development, sketching, and collection planning. Hands-on experience with Textiles and Embroidery, with the ability to select and combine materials that reflect the brand’s ethos. Proficiency in Fitting, with a solid understanding of garment construction and tailoring adjustments. Ability to translate narrative and cultural inspiration into wearable designs that prioritize comfort and movement. Familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Peck tech, or similar) and basic technical drawing for production. Strong attention to detail, colour, and silhouette, with a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams in an on-site studio environment. Relevant education in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in the fashion industry.
