Job Summary We are looking for a motivated Junior Infrastructure Engineer to join our technical operations team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and operating enterprise infrastructure environments including servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, backup solutions, and basic networking tasks. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build hands-on experience in data center and enterprise infrastructure technologies.
Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor physical servers and infrastructure hardware. Support and maintain VMware ESXi hosts and v Center environments. Assist in managing Dell EMC Unity storage systems. Perform backup and restore operations using Veeam Backup & Replication. Monitor infrastructure health and report issues proactively. Troubleshoot hardware, virtualization, storage, and backup issues. Assist in infrastructure installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.1–3 years of experience in infrastructure or system support roles. Good understanding of: > VMware ESXi and v Center > Dell EMC Unity Storage > Veeam Backup & Replication > Server hardware and components > Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, Switching) Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. Fast learner with willingness to develop technical skills. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn and work in enterprise infrastructure environments.
Preferred Qualifications VMware, Dell EMC, or Veeam training/certifications are a plus.
