Who we are Kompass School is a child-centered school in Cairo, working with children from early years through middle school in a diverse international community.
We work in intentionally small learning groups and focus on deep, uninterrupted learning, rather than rushed, whole-class instruction.
Our students follow different academic pathways, including a German pathway with a strong focus on academic language and curriculum alignment.
We are looking for Primary and Middle School teachers to join our team as we continue to grow, particularly within our German pathway.
What matters in this role You will work in a learning environment that is intentionally different from traditional classrooms:- small groups, not large classes- time for children to focus deeply- less whole-group instruction, more individual work- real attention to each child
We value educators who can observe, guide, and give children the time they need to think and work independently.
Qualifications- Native-level German (essential)- Experience within a German-speaking education system- Ability to teach Primary or Middle School level- Confidence in teaching academic German
