Algihaz Holding is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to join our growing team in Cairo
What you’ll do
Update and manage the daily/weekly/monthly agenda and arrange new meetings and appointments. Search for Freight Forwarders, customs clearance, and inland transportation for international trade to facilitate favorable partnerships and cost-effective services. Lead Communication with Freight Forwarders, Suppliers and Customs Clearance Rep. Receive shipping requests, open direct channel with the supplier and send shipping instruction to prepare correct shipping documents required for import/export customs clearance and invoicing. Communicate any delay in shipments to the respective client through phone calls or e-mails. Follow the shipment starting from the sailing and expedite the shipper to issue the original shipping documents to avoid port delay charges or demurrage penalties for containers. Provide to coordinate the flow of information, materials, and goods to Site. Prepare documentation, maintain records, and coordinate logistics. Receive original shipping documents & start the customs clearance process. Monitor shipments & customs clearance. Notify the Material Controller with the arrival of material to be ready for storage. Ensure timely delivery through cargo tracking. Perform Administrative Tasks (Scanning, coping, filling).
What you'll need
Bachelor’s degree in administration or any relevant discipline1-3 years of experience in same position Basic Project Management Skills. Strong communication Skills. Ability to write reports. Strong analytical skill. Strong in MS Office.
