Role Summary
Lead end-to-end delivery of a Dev Sec Ops mega program on Azure Dev Ops Server, ensuring integrated planning, governance, financial control, and executive reporting across platform engineering, security, QA automation, performance, and release readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Own program baseline plan, milestones, dependencies, and cutover/handover to Support squad Establish governance cadence: Steer Co, weekly executive reporting, RAID, change control, decision logs Control budget burn, forecasting, variance, vendor coordination and contract deliverables Drive release readiness across pipelines, security gates, test gates, and deployment governance Ensure operationalization: runbooks, monitoring readiness, handover plan, and knowledge transfer
Requirements
Required Experience
10-15+ years overall delivery experience; 3-5+ years leading large platform/Dev Ops programs. Government/regulatory sector experience is a plus. PMP/Prince2 preferred; Agile/SAFe exposure preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of Dev Sec Ops lifecycle, CI/CD concepts, release governance, and evidence-based delivery. Ability to translate tooling outputs into executive KPIs and readiness decisions.
Soft Skills
Executive stakeholder management, negotiation, decision facilitation, conflict resolution, and risk leadership. High ownership under pressure with structured communication.
Core Skills / Tooling
Azure Dev Ops Server (Boards/Repos/Pipelines concepts) and release readiness governance. Familiarity with JFrog Artifactory, Fortify (SAST/DAST), Hashi Corp Vault, Terraform, Open Shift/Kubernetes, Argo CD (Git Ops), Ansible, Sigstore, Open Text Service Virtualization, UFT One, UFT Digital Lab, Load Runner, App Dynamics, BMC, and Azure Monitoring.
