Job Description:
Handle inbound, outbound and transshipment and prepares invoices. Manage inventory control, replenishing stock control. Monitor and follow-up with suppliers/customers to ensure on-time and accurate shipping document submission. To prepare a final invoice to the customer and coordinate with the Finance department for payment / SOA updates. Ensuring Supplier and Vendor Invoices are in line with Sales and company agreements. Monitor claims from customers and align with Sales and Finance to issue credit notes to the customer. Coordination with the logistics for claims that may arise during cargo inbound and request relevant credit notes from suppliers. Closing of shipment folders by checking if all documents are complete (TOW, Cargo Release order, BOE, BL) to be submitted with finance. Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes. Proven experience as logistics executive. Liaise and coordinate with overseas vendors/customers, freight forwarders, carriers on delivery dates and pick-ups.
Requirements :
At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in handling Africa region. Working knowledge of logistics software (ERP) and advanced excel. Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with SAP systems will be an added advantage. Exceptional time management & excellent communication skills, both verbal & written. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Professional manner and strong ethical code. Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive. Commitment to working efficiently and accurately. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Able to cope with changing priorities. Flexible attitude and approach to work. Associates or bachelors degree in supply chain or a related field.
