Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Geologist to join our design office team. The ideal candidate will have minimum 10 years of experience in geology and/or engineering geology and will be adept at performing a variety of geological tasks. This role involves both office and field work, with international travel as required by project needs.
Responsibilities:
Conduct geological mapping and desk studies analysis. Perform site surveys and supervise ground investigation programs. Classify rock masses and conduct rock joints surveys, including stereographic projection and kinematic analysis. Utilize knowledge of geophysical surveys and Arc GIS (preferred). Lead and manage projects, ensuring effective teamwork, communication, and report writing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience. Very good command of the English language. Proficiency in geological mapping, desk studies, site surveys, and ground investigation supervision. Experience with rock mass classification and rock joints survey/stereographic projection. Knowledge of geophysical surveys and Arc GIS is a plus. Strong leadership qualities, including teamwork, communication, and report writing skills. Willingness to travel internationally as required.
