???? We’re Hiring: Payment Plugin Developer- Remotely
We are seeking an experienced Payment Plugin Developer to develop, maintain, and enhance payment plugins for Edfa Pay across multiple e-commerce and billing platforms. This role focuses on ensuring reliable, secure, and up-to-date integrations with our payment gateway across a wide range of systems.
Key Responsibilities Develop, update, and maintain Edfa Pay payment plugins for platforms including Woo Commerce, Magento, Open Cart, CS-Cart, WHMCS, Shopify, and other supported systems. Ensure all plugins are compatible with the latest Edfa Pay APIs, features, and security standards. Update existing plugins to support new functionality such as 3D Secure (3DS), Apple Pay, tokenization, and additional payment methods. Fix bugs, optimize performance, and ensure stability across different platform versions. Work closely with backend and integration teams to align plugins with API changes and best practices. Implement and test payment flows including success, failure, cancellation, and webhook handling. Maintain clear technical documentation for installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Assist with technical support and troubleshooting for merchant integration issues when required.
Requirements Proven experience developing payment plugins or extensions for Woo Commerce, Magento, Open Cart, CS-Cart, WHMCS, Shopify, or similar platforms. Strong skills in PHP, Java Script, and platform-specific frameworks and standards. Experience working with RESTful APIs and payment gateway integrations. Solid understanding of online payment flows and checkout processes. Knowledge of security best practices and PCI-DSS compliance concepts. Ability to work with both sandbox and production environments.
Nice to Have Previous experience in fintech or payment gateway development. Familiarity with 3DS authentication flows and alternative payment methods. Experience using Git or similar version control systems. Ability to support and maintain plugins across multiple versions and environments.
