Key Responsibilities Perform clash detection and issue detailed coordination reports across architectural, structural, and MEP models. Implement and manage Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures for BIM models to ensure compliance with project standards. Prepare, develop, and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and all related appendices. Develop and deliver 4D and 5D simulations, including progress and cost-related reports. Establish, improve, and standardize BIM workflows and methodologies across projects. Create, update, and manage BIM models while supervising and guiding BIM team members. Ensure full model coordination and data compatibility, making BIM information accessible to all project stakeholders. Support the design and construction teams by applying BIM and CAD technologies during all project phases. Participate in and lead BIM coordination meetings, ensuring effective issue resolution. Integrate discipline models into a single federated model and manage coordination processes. Prepare cost-related BIM outputs and support material take-offs when required. Define Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR) and BIM requirements for tenders and RFPs. Advise on the selection, setup, and implementation of Common Data Environments (CDEs) and BIM software platforms. Conduct regular assessments of team BIM and Revit capabilities and provide targeted training to enhance quality and productivity. Develop, maintain, and update all BIM templates, libraries, and standards. Support project planning activities related to BIM implementation timelines and deliverables. Provide cross-functional support and BIM technical guidance across departments.
Qualifications7 to 15 years of proven experience in BIM coordination within architectural, engineering, or construction environments. Strong hands-on expertise in Revit (mandatory). Solid experience in BIM coordination, clash detection, and federated models. In-depth understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and QA/QC processes. Experience in preparing and managing BIM Execution Plans (BEP). Knowledge of 4D and 5D BIM simulations is highly preferred. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and training BIM teams. Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills in a multidisciplinary environment. Experience with large-scale or high-profile projects is a strong advantage.
