Job purpose:We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team and drive the development of cutting-edge web applications. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of Backend developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly solutions. You will collaborate closely with designers, frontend engineers, and product managers to create seamless user experiences while staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of Backend developers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, frontend developers, and product managers) to define and implement innovative frontend solutions. Oversee the development of responsive, high-performance, and user-friendly web applications. Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project timelines. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality. Stay up to date with the latest backend technologies and advocate for their adoption when beneficial. Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges to maintain optimal performance and scalability. Manage project timelines, allocate tasks effectively, and facilitate clear communication within the team.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).7+ years of experience in Backend development with expertise in Python, Java Script, and modern frameworks such as . NET, C#. Proven experience in a leadership or mentoring role, with strong team management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams effectively. Experience with version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies.
