Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ismailia for an Import Specialist. The Import Specialist will manage end-to-end import processes, oversee international trade procedures, and ensure compliance with regulations and policies. Responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of shipments, maintaining documentation for import activities, addressing customs requirements, and providing excellent customer service to facilitate smooth operations. The role involves possible collaboration with export teams and cross-functional departments.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and experience in Import and Import-Export processes Familiarity with International Trade regulations and practices Customer Service skills to ensure smooth communication and problem-solving Proficiency in Export operations and logistics coordination Attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and international work environment Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems is an advantage Prior experience in the apparel or textile industry is a plus
