Mov Ex is seeking a highly qualified and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting management with accurate financial analysis. Location: Mokattam, Cairo, Egypt Key Duties & Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Operations Manage daily accounting transactions (AP, AR, cash, bank entries). Ensure accurate posting of journal entries and ledger reconciliation. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records. Banking & Cash Management Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. Manage payments, transfers, and follow-up with banks. Ensure proper handling of petty cash and cash collections. Reporting & Closing Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review. Analyze financial data and highlight variances and trends. Tax & Compliance Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax regulations (VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax). Assist in preparing tax returns and supporting tax audits. Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation. Cost Control & Budgeting Monitor expenses and support cost control initiatives. Assist in preparing budgets and forecasting reports. Review and validate invoices, contracts, and supplier payments. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting (preferably logistics, freight, or service industry). Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Good understanding of Egyptian tax laws and regulations. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (ERP experience is a plus). Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
