Inviting applications for the role of HR Operations - Senior Process Associate– English – on site Cairo This is an office-based role, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid work model after the first year. In this role, you will manage end-to-end payroll and HR processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless employee experience. Start date in March.
Responsibilities Maintain general ledger activities including journal entries, advanced account maintenance, and full-cycle period-end closing processes. Perform asset accounting operations including lease accounting under IFRS 16, fixed asset lifecycle management, and strategic depreciation planning. Optimize inventory and cost accounting processes, ensuring accurate valuation, variance analysis, and alignment with global standards. Perform advanced account reconciliations and resolution of long-standing discrepancies. Review and validate salary-related expenses, ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements. Act as a key contributor during internal and external audits, leading data preparation and responding to complex audit queries. Ensure strict adherence to operational schedules and proactively manage escalations and process-related inquiries. Mentor junior team members and participate in process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and client-driven transformation efforts.
Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum years of progressive experience in General Ledger and R2R operations Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), including financial modules, reporting tools, and workflow automation. Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local statutory requirements, with proven experience in applying accounting standards to complex business scenarios. Excellent command of English (minimum B2 level), with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
