Title: Head of Enterprise Security Architecture Sector: IT
Job Summary:The Head of Security Architecture is responsible for defining and Overseeing Banque Misr security architecture strategy across infrastructure, applications, databases, network and container environments. This senior role requires strategic vision, leadership skills, and deep technical expertise to safeguard our technology ecosystem and ensure robust security practices.
Key Responsibilities:Develop Security Architecture Strategy: Lead the design of a comprehensive security architecture covering infrastructure, application, database, network, and container-based security. Infrastructure Security: Establish security policies for all IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network devices, ensuring resilience against threats. Application Security: Define and oversea secure development practices and security testing procedures for applications, fostering secure coding and Dev Sec Ops practices. Database Security: Define a design control to protect data across database environments, including encryption, access controls, and continuous monitoring. Network Security: Oversee network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention, and monitoring to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats. Container Security: Design security protocols for container-based environments, including container orchestration security (e.g., Kubernetes), image scanning, and access controls. Define the Security architecture framework, standards, guidelines and procedures to be followed across projects.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or cloud security certifications is a plus10+ years of experience in security architecture or a related role, with experience in infrastructure, applications, databases, networks, and container-based security. Strong knowledge of security protocols for infrastructure, applications, databases, network, and container-based environments.
