Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Section - Mechanical Engineering at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, based in Cairo, Egypt. The role will entail leading the mechanical engineering section, overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in the facilities. Responsibilities include managing projects from inception to completion, leading and mentoring a team of engineers, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to meet objectives.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems Proficiency in Project Management and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget Experience in Team Management, including leadership and mentorship skills Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for designing and troubleshooting systems Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical and MEP systems Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an on-site environment Experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is a plus Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
