Site Geologist (min. 2-3 years experience)
Location: Mainly North Coast Company: Civi Tech – Consulting Center of Civil Engineering
Civi Tech is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Geologist to support ongoing infrastructure and construction projects. The successful candidate will provide on-site geological expertise, ensuring accurate ground assessment, data collection, and technical reporting to support safe and efficient project delivery. Responsibilities Supervise and monitor drilling, sampling, and testing activities (Sand Cone, Plate Load Test, DPLT, among others). Assess ground conditions and provide geological input to engineering teams. Interpret geological and geotechnical data. Prepare site logs, and daily progress updates. Liaise with engineers, contractors, and project managers. Maintain accurate records of site observations and data. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a site-based geological role. Strong understanding of engineering geology and ground investigation. Experience with core logging and field testing methods. Good communication and technical reporting skills. Ability to work on construction sites and in varying field conditions.
Preferred (Not Mandatory)* Experience in foundation systems and soil-structure interaction.* Knowledge of local geological conditions and standards.* Previous consultancy experience.
