Role Description We are seeking an Odoo Implementor to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity in Cairo, Egypt. The Odoo Implementor will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and deploying Odoo ERP solutions based on client requirements. They will analyze business processes, provide technical support, perform regular system monitoring, and ensure seamless integration of Odoo modules with existing workflows. Additionally, they will engage with stakeholders to gather functional requirements and deliver user training when necessary. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze business requirements from schools (finance, HR, operations, academics). Translate school workflows into Odoo configurations (modules, workflows, permissions). Configure and customize Odoo without heavy coding (settings, rules, reports). Lead ERP implementation projects from kickoff to go-live. Coordinate with the ERP Developer on required customizations. Support data migration, user setup, and system validation. Train school staff and provide post-go-live support. Document processes, configurations, and best practices. Qualifications Proficiency in Odoo configuration, customization, and implementation Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for understanding and streamlining business processes Experience with Python, XML, and other programming languages relevant to Odoo development Basic knowledge of database management (e.g., Postgre SQL) and data migration processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with stakeholders Experience in user training and documentation creation Familiarity with ERP systems in educational or similar industries is a plus A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field Required Skills & Experience2–4 years of experience implementing Odoo or similar ERP systems. Strong understanding of business processes (finance, HR, operations). Experience working directly with customers or internal stakeholders. Ability to map real-world workflows into ERP systems. Strong communication and documentation skills. Comfortable working in a fast-moving, small company. Nice to Have Experience working with schools, universities, or education organizations. Understanding of basic accounting concepts.
