About the company:Platinum Education Services helps adults across the UK access fully funded university degrees. The Operations Assistant will support the Operations Manager in ensuring the smooth and effective running of operational systems, reporting, and data processes across the business.
This role is responsible for maintaining the health of CRM systems, producing accurate business reports, supporting marketing and admissions with data insights, and assisting with operational projects and system improvements. The position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and confidence working with data-driven systems.
Your responsibilities will include:Operational Systems & CRM Monitor and maintain the health and accuracy of CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and correct processing of workflows. Perform routine checks on automations, integrations, and system functionality. Identify system issues and escalate risks in a timely and structured manner. Reporting & Data Management Prepare, maintain, and distribute daily and weekly operational and performance reports. Ensure all reports are accurate, consistent, and aligned with business requirements. Support data analysis to inform operational and commercial decision-making. Marketing & Lead Data Support Support marketing and admissions teams from a data and systems perspective. Assist with lead tracking, segmentation, and nurturing processes within the CRM. Identify trends, data gaps, and inefficiencies within lead journeys. CRM Migration & System Training Support the migration and implementation of new CRM systems where required. Assist with data validation, testing, and system configuration. Support training, documentation, and adoption of new systems across teams. Operational Problem Solving & Projects Provide data-led insights and solutions to operational challenges. Support business projects from an operations perspective as required. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes.
Skills & Requirements Essential Requirements Strong data analysis and reporting skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data management. High level of IT competence and confidence in learning new systems. Experience working with CRM databases. Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and analytical approach. Desirable Experience Experience in an operations, education, recruitment, or service-based environment. Familiarity with CRM migrations or system implementations. Experience working with dashboards, reporting tools, or workflow automation. Personal Attributes Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Proactive and solution-focused. Reliable, discreet, and able to manage sensitive data. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
