Overview
To lead large, complex, business-transformation IT projects across the EMEA region. This senior role is responsible for translating business vision into actionable requirements, managing all project dimensions, and ensuring strategic alignment while mentoring junior PMs. A key player in the phased rollout and stabilization of the centralized PMO.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Project Leadership: Manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects (Software, Security, BI, Cloud) from initiation to closure, ensuring they deliver intended business value. Strategic Translation: Work closely with business stakeholders to define clear project objectives and requirements that align with regional and global IT strategy. Advanced Planning & Governance: Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations. Ensure strict adherence to the standardized PMO methodology and governance framework. Stakeholder & Communication Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for senior business and IT stakeholders. Manage expectations, report on progress, and navigate political landscapes. Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and mitigate high-level project risks and issues. Implement effective contingency plans. Performance & Quality Oversight: Monitor and control project performance against KPIs (SPI, Budget, Quality). Drive continuous improvement initiatives within projects. Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to IT Project Manager I colleagues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:Minimum of 5 years in Project Management. At least 2 years managing IT projects. Proven track record of managing large-scale (>$1M), complex business transformation projects.
Skills:Mastery of project management principles and variables (scope, time, cost, quality, etc.). Strong financial and analytical skills for budget management and quantitative analysis. Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and influence management skills (including leading without direct authority). Advanced proficiency with PMO tools (MS Project, Jira, Power BI, Visio, Confluence).
Certifications (Desired):PMP or Prince2 Practitioner. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSS-GB).
