Overview
The IT Project Manager will support the planning, execution, and delivery of multi-disciplinary IT projects (Software, Security, BI, etc.) across the EMEA region. The Project Manager will be an agent of change, promoting collaboration and agile methodologies, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and adhere to the new centralized PMO’s standardized processes and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution: Develop, define, and organize project activities with concrete timelines to create robust project plans. Manage all project variables including scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholders. Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate project risks. Escalate issues appropriately and ensure timely resolution (target: <3 days). Stakeholder Management: Create positive relationships with stakeholders across all business levels (local and regional) by managing expectations and agreed objectives. Ensure transparent and effective communication. Quality Assurance & Reporting: Ensure deliverables meet defined quality standards. Provide accurate and timely weekly status reports and maintain 100% reporting accuracy. Agile & Scrum Support: Support software development projects utilizing Scrum methodology. Facilitate collaboration and remove obstacles to keep teams on track. Governance & Compliance: Adhere to and promote the standardized PMO methodologies, tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, PWA), and reporting frameworks established by the global PMO. Performance Tracking: Monitor project performance against KPIs, including Schedule Performance Index (SPI ≥90%) and Budget Adherence (≥95%).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:Minimum of 3 years in Project Management. At least 1 year of experience managing IT projects. Technical Knowledge:Understanding project management knowledge areas (integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communication, risk, procurement, stakeholder management). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices. Proficiency with PMO tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Power BI). Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to influence and communicate effectively at all organizational levels. Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies. Certifications (Desired):CAPM, PMP, or Prince2 Foundation. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (LSS-YB). Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a centralized PMO or shared services environment. Experience managing projects across multiple EMEA countries. Basic understanding of AI-enabled project management concepts.
