We are looking for a Network Security Presales Engineer to support our sales team by designing, positioning, and presenting network and cybersecurity solutions that meet customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate customer needs into effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Support sales team during the presales cycle (technical meetings, solution design, proposals).
Analyze customer requirements and design network & security solutions aligned with best practices.
Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, HLDs/LLDs, and solution presentations.
Conduct product demonstrations, POCs, and technical workshops.
Act as the technical point of contact for customers during the presales phase.
Work closely with vendors and distributors on solution design and pricing.
Stay up to date with the latest network security technologies and trends.
Support handover to delivery / professional services teams after project award.
Technical Requirements
Strong knowledge of Network & Security technologies, including:
Firewalls (NGFW)
VPN, IPS/IDS
Network Switching & Routing
NAC, Secure Access, and basic SOC concepts
Experience with vendors such as (any of the following is a plus):
Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Sophos, Check Point, Juniper
Understanding of enterprise network architectures and security best practices.
Ability to design scalable and secure network solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in network/security presales or a similar technical role.
Relevant certifications are a plus:
CCNA / CCNP
Fortinet NSE
Palo Alto PCNSE
Any security-related certification
Strong presentation, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
