Job Purpose:To review credit write-ups prepared by the business team, assess risks, and prepare risk memos and ensure adherence to established procedures and technical guidelines, and compliance with credit risk standards.
Job Responsibilities: Reviewing all credit write-ups prepared by the business team and preparing risk memos by carefully examine credit write-ups, analyzing the information provided, assessing risks associated with the proposed credit, and documenting findings in risk memos to evaluate the creditworthiness of borrowers, identify potential risks, and support informed decision-making by management. Ensuring the quality of risk reviews in terms of thoroughness, accuracy of analysis, and assessment by conducting comprehensive assessments of credit risks, verifying the accuracy and completeness of analysis, and maintaining high-quality standards in risk review processes to support effective risk identification, minimize the likelihood of errors and enhance the reliability of credit risk assessments. Adhering to established procedures and technical guidelines and complying with the standards for credit risk review by familiarizing oneself with internal procedures, technical guidelines, and credit risk review standards, following them rigorously, and incorporating best practices to ensure consistency, promote standardized risk assessment practices, and maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Ensuring constructive coordination and timely iterations with other internal parties, primarily Business, Credit Investigation, and Operations, for the timely completion of the deal assessment phase by providing necessary feedback and facilitating a smooth workflow to ensures timely completion of credit evaluations. Monitoring the portfolio and recommending proper mitigation strategies to the Head of Credit Risk/Chief Risk Officer (CRO) by identifying emerging risks, assessing the adequacy of existing mitigation strategies, and proposing appropriate measures to mitigate risks and safeguard the organization's credit quality and minimize potential losses. Conducting overdue follow-up on a weekly/monthly basis with the business team to track and follow up on overdue collections by reviewing overdue collection status, discussing challenges, identifying root causes, and recommending action plans for resolution to reduces credit risk exposure.
Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or relevant discipline. 2+ Years of relevant experience in Corprate credit risk. Credit Course is a must. Stong English Command
